PROTECT OUR COMMUNITY!!!

What is happening?

Our beautiful South San Pablo is at risk of changing. The new owners of the Allstate building are submitting an application to rezone the Allstate office campus, allowing them to build warehouses, apartments, multifamily homes, and MORE! For those of us who live in this area, we know how important maintaining the beauty and integrity of South San Pablo- these uses are NOT aligned with the character of our area!

Let’s protect South San Pablo and stop Allstate. Join the effort and say NO to this proposed development plan change!

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

PROTECT South San Pablo and STOP Allstate- here are action steps to take to OPPOSE Allstate’s Planned Unit Development Rezoning.

1) Email Councilman Lahnen -(WLahnen@coj.net) AND COUNCILMAN At-Large Howland (NHowland@Coj.net)

You can copy and paste this to send to Councilman Lahnen and Councilman At-Large Howland, or write it in your own words:

Councilman Lahnen and Councilman At-Large Howland,

As a San Pablo resident, we opposed the proposed development plan to add apartments, warehouses, multi-family, and other uses that were NOT in the original plan for the Allstate Campus. As the front door of our neighborhood, we believe that the density and intensity increase is too much.

3) ATTEND MEETINGS AND LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the Planning Commission meeting on 11/21 and the LUZ Committee meeting on 12/3. It’s crucial we show up and let City officials see we oppose adding new uses and traffic at our busy interchange.
