How did South San Pablo become such a beautiful corridor?

Long ago, the Davis family (the original owners) planned it that way. Once owners of vast stretches of land along San Pablo Road, the Davis Family played a pivotal role in its development. They isolated the majority of San Pablo traffic to the north of Butler Blvd, and to keep the southern San Pablo corridor a peaceful gateway to our neighborhoods.

The Davis Family went to great lengths to make San Pablo a great place to live. This is why we call it home. South San Pablo Road now serves as the gateway to several prestigious addresses in Northeast Florida, including Pablo Creek Reserve, the Brumos Collection Museum, Marina San Pablo, Pablo Creek Golf Club, and the Dee Dot Ranch.

In addition, they made many donations of land over the years – including the Mayo Clinic Campus, Cypress Village Retirement Community, Fire Station 59, land for San Pablo Road, and the Pablo Creek Golf Club.

What sets our area apart is its combination of upscale living directly accessible from Butler Boulevard and job centers, all while maintaining the ambiance of a neighborhood street. Preserving this unique blend is the community’s top priority.

American Heritage Life Campus (now Allstate) and the Pablo Creek Club were setback and had buffering to seamlessly integrate into the surroundings, minimizing their visual impact. Even Mayo Clinic is setback and buffered from San Pablo- unlike what Allstate is proposing!!!

The Davis Family collaborated with developers and the city on the design of South San Pablo Road, creating a plan for San Pablo to be a lower-density, quiet retreat we all benefit from and enjoy.

These major changes to South San Pablo Road would significantly impact the surrounding community and increase traffictake action and STOP these changes!
